Welcome to the home of UCSB Roller Hockey!

Play hockey at the University of California, Santa Barbara! UCSB is home to elite teams in both the DI and B divisions of the WCRHL. The Gauchos have one of the longest running roller hockey clubs in the nation, starting in 1994. As a member of the Western Collegiate Roller Hockey League (WCRHL), we play schools located throughout California, Nevada, and Arizona. The WCRHL is a member of the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association (NCRHA), the national governing body of collegiate roller hockey. The season runs from the end of September until the end of March with 5 tournaments spaced throughout that time span. UCSB is one of few schools in the nation to have their own full size rink on campus. The rink is 200' x 85', a regulation size NHL rink. Complete with Sport Court flooring, the MAC Rink is one of the nicest facilities around.

Tryouts for the 2008-2009 Season

Tryouts for the 2008-2009 season will be held on September 27 and 28 from 12:00-2:00 pm. Be sure to bring your gear with you when you move in. An informational meeting will be held on September 24 at 7 pm. Pick up will follow the meeting so bring your gear with you to the meeting.
